Monsters consist of all kinds of Animals, Creatures, Bosses and NPCs in Cube World. Mobs (short for "mobile") is a term used for a moving entity. The Alpha and Steam Version refer to monsters differently. In the Steam Version, enemies are addressed in Rarity and colors. The Alpha version refers to enemy difficulty with text color and +1- +2 -+3 ==Loot Drops== All enemy drops are generated randomly upon enemy strength, therefore there are no exact drops to any exact monster except enemy specific items like Parrot Feather and Onion Slices. Items like armor, weapons, formulas and food are randomly generated loot drops per enemy that are not definite. A boss monster may guarantee a Spirit Cube but it does not guarantee what type it is. Example: if a boss drops a Fire Spirit, when fought again it could drop a Wind Spirit. ==Description== Some monsters are Biome-specific and few are Dungeon-specific. Animals and Humans in Cities will be peaceful and cannot be attacked. Sometimes Possessed Villagers will try to attack the player, Possessed villagers can be attacked. You can also meet Friendly or Aggressive adventurers in any landscape There is a low chance for any monster to become a boss type. Boss monsters are faster, bigger and more powerful and glow at night. Defeating one is usually harder and more rewarding (more XP, better loot) Related mobs articles: * Animals * Bosses * Pet Food == Missions == Missions consist of a more difficult Dungeon or Battle. Every Mission Dungeon is going to have an NPC Boss, while Battles consist of a single Boss Mob, such as a Troll or a Cyclops. In the Steam version, missions also include Supplier Gnomes and trapped NPCS that require a key to set free. == Trivia == *A Mob can be named Aslan, this is unintentionally a reference to the Chronicles of Narnia series.
